The Businesses People Return To

One thing we’ve learned over the years is that the strongest businesses are not built by talking the loudest. They’re built by listening closely.

When people think about growth, they often focus on more followers, more customers and more attendees, but we’ve found that the most meaningful growth usually comes from understanding the people who already support you and continuing to build with them in mind.

One of the biggest things that has shaped Bespoke over the years has simply been asking questions and genuinely listening to the answers.

What do shoppers want more of?
What are vendors needing support with?
What is working and what isn’t working?

We’ve also realized that building connection is not about trying to force it. It’s about creating spaces where it can happen naturally.

That might look like vendors meeting at a market and later collaborating on projects. It might look like shoppers returning because the experience feels familiar and inspiring. Sometimes it’s simply someone feeling welcomed the moment they walk through the doors.

And for businesses that are just starting out, it can feel challenging when momentum is still building. In the beginning, you often have to personally invite people, follow up, start conversations and continue showing up even before things fully take shape.

But over time, people begin to understand the vision and the right community slowly starts finding you.

At the end of the day, we believe the strongest businesses are built when people feel like they are part of something, not simply purchasing something.
