The Market Is Just the Beginning
One thing we’ve realized over the years is that the market is only one part of the community experience and that some of the most meaningful growth happens in everything surrounding it.
We never wanted Bespoke to feel like everything ends once the market weekend is over. The event creates the energy, connection and excitement, but what happens between markets matters just as much.
That’s what led us to creating things like Creator Collective calls, educational resources, smaller gatherings and more opportunities for vendors to connect outside of market weekends.
Over the years, we’ve watched vendors become close friends, recommend suppliers to one another, collaborate on projects and even help each other get into small shops and retail spaces. We’ve seen people share advice, celebrate wins together and genuinely support one another and honestly, that kind of connection is one of the most meaningful parts of what we’ve built.
We’ve also noticed that the vendors who grow the most are often the ones who lean into the full community experience, not just the sales opportunity. They connect with other vendors, ask questions, gather feedback, continue learning between events and intentionally come into the market with a plan for how to create the best ROI possible, not just through sales but through relationships, exposure, market research and long-term growth.
At the end of the day, we believe people want more than just a market to sell at or shop at. They want connection, support and a sense of belonging and we think that’s what turns a market into a real community.
