All vendors are required to have liability insurance covering the duration of the market including the set up and a minimum coverage of $2,000,000 liability. For quick & affordable vendor insurance Bespoke Market recommends DUUO go to https://duuo.ca/vendor-insurance/, click on "Get Quote" and choose Bespoke Market. All event information will be pre-populated and a copy of your insurance certificate will be sent directly to Bespoke organizers. If you have your own commercial insurance please ensure you provide a certificate naming the following as additionally insured:

Vendor fees are final and non-refundable or transferable.
Vendors agree the photography they submit will be shared in SEEK Bespoke Market’s marketing channels. Also, as a vendor, table displays and products will be photographed for current and future social media and marketing including our website.
Vendors must only sell the products outlined in their application unless prior approval is obtained.
Vendors are responsible for obtaining all permits, licences, insurance and approvals required to sell their products and/or conduct onsite food sampling. Food and beverage vendors must comply with all applicable Island Health requirements and any requirements established by Fairmont Empress. Required permits and certificates must be available onsite during the market.
Booth requests aren't guaranteed but we do take requests.
Vendors are responsible for the collection of sales tax and credit/debit services.
Vendors are responsible for their products and business activities and for any claims, damages, losses or injuries arising from the sale, use or consumption of their products or from their actions or activities at the market.
Vendors offering alcoholic samples or selling alcoholic products must obtain all required licences, approvals and certifications and comply with all applicable BC liquor regulations and Fairmont Empress requirements. Vendors serving alcohol must hold a valid Serving It Right certificate and have it available onsite.
Load-in instructions and onsite placement will be specific as per each market and vendors must be market-ready 30 minutes prior to the event. Vendors will be provided with a set-up and tear-down schedule before the event. At the closing of the event, vendors are required to leave their vendor space clear and free of garbage and recycling.
Vendors must remain set up in their spaces until the close of the event.
Vendors must comply with Fairmont Empress and fire-code requirements. This is especially important for candles, electrical equipment, extension cords, as an example.
If any government agency, court, person or commercial body orders sale of your products cease, you will immediately comply with this order.
As a vendor, you will indemnify Shannon June Enterprises Inc and Fairmont Empress, for any loss, fine, penalty, judgement, legal fees, and expenses reasonably connected with your failure to comply with the terms of this agreement or any liability, negligence, gross negligence or injury resulting from your products, actions, conduct, booth setup, display or trade activities.
Shannon June Enterprises Inc will not be liable for failure or delay in performing its obligations where such failure or delay results from circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to severe weather, natural disasters, fire, flood, public health emergencies, government restrictions, labour disruptions, acts of terrorism, war, venue closures or other events that make it unsafe, illegal or impractical to operate the market.
Shannon June Enterprises Inc or Fairmont Empress is not liable for any damage or loss whatsoever, arising form any cause, nor for any loss incurred by reason of failure of The Vendor to obtain such insurance or failure of such insurance to cover any loss.
In the event that Shannon June Enterprises Inc or Fairmont Empress is required to cancel, postpone or materially alter the market due to circumstances outside of its reasonable control, Shannon June Enterprises Inc will communicate available options to affected vendors. Vendor fees are otherwise non-refundable and non-transferable.
Verbal or physical abuse, bullying, or harassment of any kind of the market staff, other vendors, volunteers or the public will not be tolerated or accepted.
Failure to comply with these terms may result in removal from the market and/or cancellation of the vendor's participation without refund.
